The beach is a place of peace and refreshment. The ocean has so many things to offer us but it also takes away. Many days spent walking from Noriega to Judah on the Beach in San Francisco you see so many dead creatures from sand dollars, jelly fish, birds and most of all in this section of the beach you see dead crabs. Big crabs, baby crabs, crabs of different colors, all sorts and sizes. How they fall into the sand and lay until the tide washes them away or they dissolve into the sand. With in this we find beauty, beauty in death a cycle never ending always renewing. Shot with the Canon 5D Mark II various focal lengths using a Tameron 28-70mm lens. Hand held.
